The Art of Kantha This morning's session with Paula will be creating a collaged book cover in Kantha stitch. Kantha is a Bangladeshi word for rags. It is also the name given to a form of stitching used to make quilts and covers from the good parts of old worn saris. In this workshop they will learn about the relaxing and therapeutic nature of hand stitching through creating small designs, using the Kantha technique which is a traditional hand-stitching technique from Bangladesh. Class starts at 10 & ends at 1pm. Supply list given at time of booking. Shop Opens at 9am.

If you need to cancel less than 1 week before the class you will loose all your booking costs. If you book a course & miss a day this is non refundable. With this in mind we do offer however a chance for you to book onto another date of the same class for half price. This offer is valid for 6 months form time of cancelation. Alternatively, you could opt for a friend to go in your place, just let us know the name of your elected replacement!
