Beginning Dressmaking 4 Week Course
Workshop/ Course Description
Starting Tuesday 9th September Week 2- 23rd September Week 3- 7th October Week 4- 21st October £30 deposit, rest payable by bank transfer or in the shop. Over four weeks we will cover: • Choosing a pattern and fabric • Measuring yourself to ensure a good fit and some basic pattern adjustments • Reading and understanding patterns and cutting out • How to insert a zip • Types of seams and neatening • Sleeves, cuffs, buttons and buttonholes Each week will have elements of learning techniques and of completing your own garment. What to bring: Sewing machine (or use one of the shop machines) Sewing kit (sharp scissors, pins, needles, tape measure, pencil and notebook) In the first week we will discuss patterns and fabrics and we’ll begin making up your project in week 2 so you don’t need to have chosen your pattern and fabric to begin the course. Cancellation Policy
PLEASE READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS Thanks for your interest in Studi0ne! We look forward to having you on one of our classes. We can offer a refund for your booking for 70% of the cost of the workshop, (less 30% for administration) if your cancellation is more than 14 days in advance, After 14 days & before 7 days this will be 50%. If you need to cancel less than 1 week before the class you will loose all your booking costs. If you book a course & miss a day this is non refundable. With this in mind we do offer however a chance for you to book onto another date of the same class for half price. This offer is valid for 6 months form time of cancelation. Alternatively, you could opt for a friend to go in your place, just let us know the name of your elected replacement!
