Autumn 'The Coat' Series of 5 Sessions

Workshop/ Course Description

Starting Wednesday 11th September Fortnightly. 10 am - 4pm I originally made the brown dark coat in 2010 and sold it! Darn! The lighter one & the winter one hang around the shop and is admired by many.. so here is how to make it! Under the Professional tuition of Laura Maunder & Becca Doe. Course includes Pattern. Week 1.- With Laura and Becca- Choosing & selecting your fabrics/ texture. What is your inspiration? Create a small mood board to come up with your perfect Dream Coat. Measuring you, pattern Sizing and cutting. Week 2- Patchwork layout & piecing with Becca Week 3- This week we will cover techniques such as felt embellishing, couching & appliqué and quilting. This is will what give your coat a personal & unique touch. Week 4 Back with Laura to construct the coat. Week 5 Finishing off, Cuffs, Collar, Button holes and hemming. Altogether 30 Hours tuition with back up support by email between sessions. £50 deposit, rest payable 2 weeks before, by bank transfer or in store. Each Class will provide refreshments & a hot drink. Please bring a packed lunch or support one of our amazing independent cafes on South Street.

Cancellation Policy

PLEASE READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS Thanks for your interest in Studi0ne! We look forward to having you on one of our classes. We can offer a refund for your booking for 70% of the cost of the workshop, (less 30% for administration) if your cancellation is more than 14 days in advance, After 14 days & before 7 days this will be 50%. If you need to cancel less than 1 week before the class you will loose all your booking costs. If you book a course & miss a day this is non refundable. With this in mind we do offer however a chance for you to book onto another date of the same class for half price. This offer is valid for 6 months form time of cancelation. Alternatively, you could opt for a friend to go in your place, just let us know the name of your elected replacement!
