8 Week Patchwork course

Workshop/ Course Description

Starting May 12th 1.30pm - 4.30pm 8 weeks breaking for bank holiday Monday & June 10th. Learn new technique each week and brush up on old ones. Includes instructions & templates. Machines available if needed. This term I am taking a more improvisational approach to patchwork designs. There will be 6 sessions for block making with a quilt as you go method. The Quilt will be about 60" x 60" finished, but you could repeat some blocks & make it bigger. I aim to introduce you to techniques & patterns you may not encounter on your own at home (or on youtube!). If you have a particular project you need help with please do bring it along & I will hopefully be able to help. As well as learning some traditional patchwork & quilting techniques. Brush up on rotary cutting, piecing, templates, applique & machining as well as building confidence choosing colours and fabrics & maybe getting out of your comfort zone!. Patterns and advice sheets all included. Intended for: Someone familiar with sewing & who would like to learn more advanced techniques & skills. Cost: £150 for the Course, one time payment. £40 deposit, £110 paid before the course starts by bank transfer or cash.

Cancellation Policy

PLEASE READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS Thanks for your interest in Studi0ne! We look forward to having you on one of our classes. We can offer a refund for your booking for 70% of the cost of the workshop, (less 30% for administration) if your cancellation is more than 14 days in advance, After 14 days & before 7 days this will be 50%. If you need to cancel less than 1 week before the class you will loose all your booking costs. If you book a course & miss a day this is non refundable. With this in mind we do offer however a chance for you to book onto another date of the same class for half price. This offer is valid for 6 months form time of cancelation. Alternatively, you could opt for a friend to go in your place, just let us know the name of your elected replacement!
